Hi Ricordisamoa, please note that .httaccess files are no longer interpreted by the server. That's why https://tools.wmflabs.org/ricordisamoa/dui/ ( linked from https://tools.wmflabs.org/ricordisamoa ) gives a 404 while https://tools.wmflabs.org/ricordisamoa/dui/dui.html still works. You can read more at https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Nova_Resource:Tools/Help/NewWeb#Web_services which is linked from http://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/labs-l/2014-March/002160.html -- Rillke (talk) 16:35, 22 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Rillke: I'm already aware of the issue, see m:User talk:Ricordisamoa#ricordisamoa/dui/, doesn't seem to actually exist.. --Ricordisamoa 19:19, 22 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Sorry for bothering you. BTW, you are now maintainer of the octodata tool. Guess what it is for. I've not yet written a PHP query interface but this year's POTY data is already in its database named s51816__krakenbase_p. The octoeye view will be most helpful to us ;-) -- Rillke (talk) 01:03, 23 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Voilà: //tools.wmflabs.org/octodata/sucker.php?action=votelookup&username=Ricordisamoa -- I am going to polish the API so it supports grouping by event/ballot but right now it's usable! (CORS required; only severs to WMF hosts as origin) -- Rillke (talk) 22:34, 23 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Tool labs stability

Was this edit necessary? valhallasw (Merlijn van Deen) (talk) 12:51, 10 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Merlijn van Deen: Don't take it as criticism — your work is astounding! But Tool Labs definitely needs more resources. --Ricordisamoa 14:09, 13 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
I completely agree with you on that :-) I suppose we shouldn't market Tool Labs as 'stable' either, as there is much to be improved there. I just think a [citation needed] is not the right way to communicate it ;-) valhallasw (Merlijn van Deen) (talk) 14:19, 13 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
