xtools

Welcome, we're talking about you into User talk:Tparis. JackPotte (talk) 15:46, 29 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

We need to coordinate ourselves in spite of the fact that our counter was pointing to wikipedia:User_talk:X!#Tools. That's the reason why I've created Nova Resource:Xtools as another big project of Category:Nova Resource, and obviously made the counter pointing on it (Support at the bottom left). Edit count breakdown

I'm clicking on the edit count link on en.wiki and I keep getting a labs error message page. Your name was listed there so I just wanted to ask what was going on. It's just the same information that has been available in the past. Liz (talk) 20:35, 13 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello! Yes, I'm also wondering what has happened. Is there anywhere elso to ask for help about this tool?--Paracel63 (talk) 16:13, 17 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
My talk page on enwiki is watched more by me. I'm working on a solution at this time. xtools unfortunately has been suffering from intermittent outages. I apologize for the inconvenience right now. Cyberpower678 (talk) 17:38, 17 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Many thanks for trying to fix it. This tool is the best one on user edits I've come across during my seven year long stay with the Wikimedia projects. Best of wishes---Paracel63 (talk) 19:11, 17 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

I appreciate EditCount, its been a great tool for me to use. Unfortunately there have been several instances of it not functioning for a several day period. When this happens there is no way of me knowing when or why, is it possible that you and Hedonil to manage delivering a reason for its shutdown to users trying to access it when its not working? It'd be much appreciated by myself at the least.Secretname101 (talk) 03:41, 1 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Same here. Millions of articles on English Wikipedia automatically link to the "Page History" tool, and many of our userboxes link to "X! Edit Counter", so it's often frustrating when these important xtools stop working for days at a time. Anything to improve their reliability will indeed be widely appreciated. —Patrug (talk) 11:43, 1 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
Same here. I agree that it seems really important that this either be fixed or removed from View History pages as an option. Do you have another project page where the edit count link tool conversation is happening? OR drohowa (talk) 06:11, 6 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
Same here. Any idea on its resolution? --Andyrom75 (discussioni) 08:33, 6 December 2014 (UTC)
It's back up. An hopefully I stabilized it a bit.Cyberpower678 (talk) 16:15, 6 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Cyberpower678, it was working yesterday but seems to be on the fritz again as it leads to an error page. It's a feature I use on a daily basis when I'm on Wikipedia, by the way, so thank you for it! I have noticed that before it went off the grid, about half the time, the editor I would check on would be reported to have 0 edits even when they had been here for years. That must have been yesterday and today it doesn't work at all. Liz (talk) 20:08, 3 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Cyberpower678 please fix the tool as many of us use this tool on daily basis. If you need any kind of help kindly ask. I am available for coding session right now. Prymshbmg (talk) 10:33, 21 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

XTools gone to sleep?

Hi there! Just thought I'd give you a little heads-up that XTools appear to be down :-( Davidcannon (talk) 13:09, 16 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

xtools is not happy

Internal error The URI you have requested, /xtools-ec/?user=Andrew-w-king&project=en.wikipedia.org&uselang=en, appears to be non-functional at this time.

If you have reached this page from somewhere else... This URI is part of the xtools-ec tool, maintained by Cyberpower678 and Tools.xtools.

Perhaps its magical script elves are temporarily ill, or the link you've followed doesn't actually lead somewhere useful?

If you're pretty sure this shouldn't be an error, you may wish to notify the tool's maintainers (above) about the error and how you ended up here.

If you maintain this tool The error might be caused by incorrect permission, or by an error in the script or CGI that was meant to execute here. You may wish to check your logs or common causes for errors in the help documentation.

It looks like you don't read your wikitech talk page (regularly), so I will page you on en.wiki, where you seem most active. Elee (talk) 10:19, 17 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

I don't need to respond to you on this one. ;-)Cyberpower678 (talk) 14:34, 17 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

A cheeseburger for you!

Thanks for restarting the Edit Count tool. Prymshbmg (talk) 08:16, 22 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
